Nadja Pärssinen: Untitled - sooloteos (osa Wanderlust-hanketta)

Nadja Pärssinen on koreografi ja tanssija, joka kiinnostunut tutkimaan esiintyjyytyään mm. liikkeen ja musiikin/äänen vuoropuhelussa, poikkitaiteellisin keinoin sekä elokuvallisen että visuaalisen kerronnan läpi. Tällä hetkellä hän pohtii soolotyöskentelyssään, miten taivaltamisen ruumiillisuus ja sen halu voisi avata uusia koreografisia mahdollisuuksia suhteessa mm. tilaan, tavaroihin ja muistoihin.

Nadja Pärssinen is a choreographer and dancer who is interested in exploring her performance practice through, among other things, the dialogue between movement and music/sound, using interdisciplinary methods and cinematic and visual storytelling. In her current solo work, she is exploring how the physicality of walking (travelling by walking) and the desire to walk could open up new choreographic possibilities in relation to space, objects and memories, among other things.

Heino & Kukkonen

Heino & Kukkonen on tanssitaiteilijoiden Hanna Heinon ja Kaisa Kukkosen 20-vuotta kestävä tanssin- ja runoimprovisaation projekti, joka on alkanut joulukuussa 2022.

Kysymme millaiset olosuhteet tuottavat hetkiä, joissa kokea liikkeen ja sanojen poeettista suhdetta. Mitkä asiat tekevät tilanteista runoja? Milloin runo esityksenä alkaa, mikä sitä ylläpitää ja mikä sen lopettaa? Tutkimme vapauden ja rakenteiden suhdetta improvisaatiossa ja esiintymisen herättämiä ristiriitaisia tunteita.

Heino & Kukkonen is a 20-year dance and poetry improvisation project by dance artists Hanna Heino and Kaisa Kukkonen, which began in December 2022.

We ask what kind of circumstances produce moments in which we experience the poetic relationship between movement and words. What makes situations poetic? When does a poem as performance begin, what sustains it, and what ends it? We explore the relationship between freedom and structure in improvisation and the conflicting emotions evoked by performance.
